Kenya National Public Debt — Real-Time Counter

This platform tracks Kenya's public debt stock (domestic and external), government expenditure and revenue, fiscal deficit, and macroeconomic indicators such as GDP and population, updated continuously using an ARDL-based growth model anchored to official Treasury and Central Bank of Kenya data.

It is published by the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) Kenya, with support from UK Aid, as part of an effort to make Kenya's fiscal data accessible to citizens, journalists, and researchers. The platform also includes expenditure and indicator dashboards, an AI Fiscal Assistant for plain-language questions about the debt, and USSD access (dial *455*9#) for users without internet connectivity.
